Kingdom of Samur - Series 1

In the deep seas of Octane, flourished the Oceanwaters kingdom of Samur. The kingdom of Samur had a long history of kings that ruled the waters for  ages. History states that it was Gobus, the Great Octopus who established the Kingdom of Samur and it has thus thrived for ages. The aquazens of Samur lived in harmony and peace until..

The current King of Samur, Hopus was facing immense crisis as his kingdom was under the constant threat of a malefic sea-urchin called Rippin. Rippin posed serious threat to the kingdom as he ate all the baby Octopuses and fled away. It was impossible for anyone to get hold of him. The Samur army failed to capture him as he was very elusive. So, Hopus made an announcement that whoever caught Rippin would be awarded with 500 sea clamps and a job at the Kingdom.

Unknown of all these , there lived a baby octopus called Crepos. Crepos was a septopus with a horn on his head instead of his eighth arm. He was a huge disappointment in his family of eight octopus brothers where he landed as a septopus. His brothers teased him and refused to play with him. Crepos was isolated. He refused to attend to school fearing rejection and name calling as he was constantly prone to bullying.

One day, Crepos was seeing a group of baby octopuses playing, hiding from a small rock cave. he longed to play with them but he was afraid that they would tease him. He then suddenly mustered up courage and thought it wouldn't hurt if he tried at all. He slowly swam towards them and asked them if they would allow him to play with them. Drecos, the leader of the gang swam to the front and mocked Crepos saying that he wasn't even an octopus.

Rippin who kept watching all of these from a distance suddenly leaped at them sensing the right time. He dashed right into them and grabbed Drecos and Crepos with his two arms while the others fled. Drecos started screaming for help wherelse Crepos who had no idea of who Rippin was, kept struggling in his hold. Rippin made an attempt to eat Crepos, which was when Crepos hit Rippin's eye with his horn. Poor Rippin screamed in pain as his eye started bleeding urchin blood.

Hearing the commotion, people gathered and soon the army caught hold of a remorseful Rippin withering in pain. Crepos was a sudden hero. Samur celebrated its new hero. Crepos was awarded 500 sea clamps and an assured post in the Kingdom when he grew up.

Crepos was a happy septopus now. His imperfection no longer bothered him. He knew it was his strength. He was unique and yes he is, after all Crepos is a hero!!
